Annually, Baltimore City Public Schools must submit a six-year Capital Improvement Program to the State as part of its request for State Public School Construction Funds. The Program must be approved by several local bodies, including the Planning Commission.

7. CITY COUNCIL BILL #20-0570/ ZONING – RAILROAD RIGHTS-OF-WAY – BILLBOARDS (Citywide)
For the purpose of authorizing, subject to limitations and requirements, the erection of new billboards within a railroad right-of-way or within a railroad facility that adjoins a railroad right-of-way; and correcting, conforming, and clarifying related language. (Council President Scott)

10. CITY COUNCIL BILL #20-_____/ ZONING CODE – MODIFICATIONS (Citywide)
For the purpose of making needed changes to certain provisions that, during the course of actively operating under the new Zoning Code, were discovered to be functionally impractical or otherwise in need of modification to abate previously unanticipated consequences; allowing electronic signs in residential districts, making them a conditional use by the Board of Municipal and Zoning Appeals, specifying the zoning district requirements, and generally relating to conditional signs; correcting, clarifying, and conforming certain provisions; and generally relating to the zoning and development laws of the City of Baltimore. (Council President on behalf of the Administration)

NOTE: This item is expected to be introduced in City Council on September 21, 2020, and so it will not have a bill number until that time. We will update the agenda following introduction.
